Evans Graphics Ltd, the parent company was originally established in 1980, when three partners purchased a family owned engraving firm in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

Seeing the potential of moving from traditional engraving to screen printing, the partners decided to develop the company in this direction and Evans Screenprint (Maidenhead) Ltd. was born.

The company has since developed further by acquiring additional businesses - each offering a specialist capability - and integrating them into a single group, so that customers receive a seamless service, whichever product they require. Evans Screenprint (Maidenhead) Ltd. was latterly changed to Evans Graphics Ltd during the 1990's to better reflect the more diversified nature of the business direction.

Through the 1990's and up until recently, we identified ourselved as "Evans Group". This worked well when we had some 8 company names live at any one time. It seemed to make sense to cover all under one umbrella. However, following a successful MBO in June 2003, the decision was taken to bring the true name of Evans Graphics Ltd back to the foreground. Whilst you may still see Evans Group around, it will gradually wash through as literature is exhausted and subsequently replaced.

Memtek Ltd

(Please note that as of 1st April 2004, Memtek Ltd has been absorbed into Evans Graphics Ltd. All future business will now be processed by EGL). Memtek Ltd, based in Calne, Wiltshire, was acquired by Evans Graphics Ltd in 1997 and has brought to the group specialist technology and skills in producing membranes for keyboards, tactile switches, short run hard coat windows and high quality fascias, shims, gaskets and insulators, as well as a full range of industrial labels.

Evans Engraving

Evans Engraving, also based in Maidenhead, offers industrial and computerised engraving and now utilises powerful Co2 laser systems to rapidly mark and identify components. They also manufacture bespoke rubber stamps, ideal for government and contract purposes. Specialising in engraving onto stainless steel, their experience permits them to quote on orders that other companies will shy away from.
